Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Honoring Our Legacy.
Brother Engagement Initiative

The Re-Engagement Program is designed to reconnect inactive and less-engaged Brothers with the life, mission, and activities of the chapter. Through outreach, mentorship, and meaningful involvement, the program encourages renewed participation, fellowship, and service while reaffirming the values of achievement, integrity, and brotherhood.

Purpose & Eligibility

The Member Re-Engagement Program provides an opportunity for individuals who previously participated in a sanctioned or unsanctioned initiation and were exposed to Kappa Alpha Psi ritual, but whose membership was never recorded at International Headquarters (IHQ), to complete a sanctioned ritual ceremony and obtain official Fraternity credentials.

The Southwestern Province Re-Engagement Program is for individuals who have participated in a sanctioned or unsanctioned initiation and have been exposed to our Kappa Ritualistic ceremony.

However, their name and information were never received or recorded at International Headquarters. This program allows these Renegade, Ghost, or underground brothers the opportunity to participate in a sanctioned Kappa Ritualistic Ceremony and receive their necessary Kappa credentials.

All 12 Provinces have agreed to follow the same requirements and fee structure in this Re-Engagement Program.

Applications can only be submitted during the following Kappa Events: CRWLC, Provincial Meeting, or Grand Conclave Meeting.

The Re-Engagement Program requirements have changed. Please see below the newly updated list of requirements:

•  Have participated in an unsanctioned ritualistic ceremony in prior years
•  Obtained an Official Transcript from the University/College attended (Degree no longer required)
•  Pay in full the amount due – may vary due to Local Chapter dues (see below)
•  Complete all required forms accurately
•  Three letters of recommendation from three fully financial brothers
•  Not have been barred, sanctioned, expelled and/or owe fines to the fraternity
•  Must participate in a current Kappa sanctioned ritualistic ceremony prior to receiving credentials and having name put on the scroll.

Please direct all inquiries relative to the re-engagement program to the me the program chairman. Please do not contact the SWP leadership during the application process. All inquiries shall be handled in a timely fashion.

If an applicant participated in a sanctioned or unsanctioned initiation process in another Province, the application must be approved by that Province Polemarch before it is given to SWP Province Polemarch Brown to approve. If the Province Polemarch from another Province fails to sign the application sent to his Province, the application will be rejected.
