The Jesse Scott Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors in the Shreveport–Bossier City area who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership ability, and active involvement in school and community activities.

Recipients are selected by the Shreveport Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and recognized through the chapter’s scholarship program.

Who Should Apply?

Applicants should meet the program’s core academic, enrollment, leadership, and community expectations.

Graduating Senior

Currently completing high school in the Shreveport–Bossier City area.

Continuing Education

Plans to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or technical institution.

Academic & Leadership

Demonstrates academic effort, leadership potential, responsibility, and positive character.

Community Involvement

Shows meaningful participation in school, service, extracurricular, or community activities.
